La Clusaz Altitude 1647 Chalet: The old chalet Altitude 1647, at the top of the ski slopes of French ski station La Clusaz, has the potential to host a new type of hotel in the region. Between the comfort of the ski village in the valley and the rudimentary services of the pass-through hotels in higher altitudes, no current offering exists that allows for a higher-end hospitality experience on the slopes. This renovation project aims at filling the gap.
The commune of La Clusaz is part of France’s Haute-Savoie département. We respect the contextual requirements of the traditional chalet style of the original building while introducing a tasteful extension made of contemporary materials.
